The Ministry of Education has launched a National Initiative for Proficiency in Reading with Understanding and Numeracy (NIPUN Bharat), with the stated goals that all Indians attain foundational literacy and numeracy (FLN) by the end of Grade 3.
Report on Nipun Bharat and Fln in English Nipun Bharat i.e National Initiative for proficiency in reading with understanding and numeracy formulated within aim to enable all children should know foundational literacy and numeracy by the end of grade 3. KVS has been following and working towards it through various activities by blending it with teaching earning process.Here is the glimpse of activities performed collaboratively by our students and teachers to enhance students foundational literacy activities on the topic action word has been performed by students.Numeracy concept was also enriched through performing multiplication with the sticks not only this but we focused on clearing the concept of matra by creating flash cards which eventually lead to a fun way for little blossoms to understand concept of mathra . Various other activities included like make a word , compound words, make a new sound etc. Under Nipun Bharat we also focused on clearing concept of place value by indulging little kids or could say using hands on activity and learning concepts by themselves In this way we kvians are heading towards achieving targets of FLN and Nipun Bharat by taking a step forward every day.
