- Remedial Measures Taken Under CALP (Comprehensive Academic Learning Plan)
To ensure that no child was left behind academically, CALP-based remedial sessions were organized after the completion of each event. The following actions were undertaken:
Extra Classes: Special remedial classes were conducted after school hours and during zero periods to complete pending syllabus.
Peer Learning: Non-participating students helped peers by sharing class notes and summaries.
Use of ICT Tools: Smart boards, recorded lessons, and e-learning resources (Diksha, NCERT e-pathshala) were used for concept revision.
Worksheet & Practice Sessions: Subject teachers provided worksheets for self-assessment and revision.
Small Group Teaching: Difficult topics were re-taught in small groups to ensure clarity and individual attention.
Assessment & Feedback: Short tests and oral recaps were conducted to evaluate understanding and fill learning gaps.
After implementation of remedial measures under CALP:
Students successfully covered the missed portions in all subjects.
Continuous feedback showed improved understanding and performance.
Participation in events also enhanced students’ confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills — balancing co-curricular excellence with academics.
The school ensured that participation in co-curricular and national-level events did not adversely affect the academic progress of the students. Through systematic CALP-based remedial teaching, the learning outcomes were effectively achieved and maintained.
